I wake up in a small apartment and feel a bit tired. I open the window, breathe fresh air, and make tea and toast. One message is on my phone from my friend Leo, and he asks me to meet at the cafe near the station. I wash, dress, and walk outside with a light bag and my keys.
We sit at the cafe by the window and talk about work and travel. He shows me photos from his trip, and I share a plan for a weekend hike. We laugh and enjoy the warm drink. We leave the cafe and buy vegetables at the market, then go home to cook dinner. Later in the evening, I read a short story and write a note in my diary.
